Live Streaming

StatSetter’s mobile app can live-stream your volleyball matches with a real-time scoreboard overlay. Stream to YouTube, Facebook, or any RTMP-compatible platform.

Requirements

  • StatSetter mobile app (iOS or Android)
  • Coach or Club subscription plan
  • A streaming destination (YouTube Live, Facebook Live, etc.)

Setting Up a Stream

1. Get Your Stream Key

From your streaming platform (e.g., YouTube Studio):

  1. Go to LiveStream
  2. Copy the Stream URL and Stream Key

2. Configure in StatSetter

  1. Open the mobile app and select your match
  2. Tap Stat Stream from the Hub
  3. On the Stream Setup screen:
    • Login with YouTube button account and create stream from StatSetter. You can also continue to stream on existing stream.
    • Paste your RTMP URL (e.g., rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2)
    • Paste your Stream Key
    • Optionally paste a YouTube URL to link the scoreboard

3. Go Live

  1. Tap Start Stream
  2. The app switches to landscape mode with a split layout:
    • Left half: Camera preview (16:9, 1280×720)
    • Right half: LiveHUD with stat controls
  3. Stats you record appear on the scoreboard in real time

YouTube Integration

If you’re streaming to YouTube, you can also:

  • Connect your YouTube account for one-tap broadcast setup
  • Browse recent broadcasts and select an existing stream
  • Create a new broadcast with privacy settings (public, unlisted, private)

Streaming Modes

Choose Score Stream if you just want to broadcast the score without detailed stat tracking.

Stream Quality

  • Resolution: 1280×720 (720p)
  • Orientation: Landscape
  • Audio: Device microphone (can be muted during voice commands)

Sharing the Scoreboard

You don’t need to watch the stream to follow the score:

  1. On the Stream Setup screen, tap Share Scoreboard Link
  2. A link like app.statsetter.com/scoreboard.html?setId=... is copied
  3. Share it with parents, fans, or anyone — no account needed
  4. The scoreboard updates every 2 seconds with live scores
