Highlights & Clips
StatSetter can create highlight clips directly from your stat data — every kill, ace, or big block can become a shareable video clip with one click.
Creating Highlights
From the Event Timeline
- In the Track Stats view, find the play in the event timeline
- Click the scissors icon (✂️) on the event
- StatSetter extracts a 6-second clip centered on that play’s timestamp
- The clip is saved to your Highlights library
YouTube vs. Local Video
How the highlight is created depends on your video source:
| Source | What Happens |
|---|---|
| YouTube URL | Saves a reference to the timestamp — plays the YouTube clip at that moment (±3 seconds) |
| Local video file | Records a 6-second clip from the video and saves the video data locally |
Viewing Highlights
Go to Highlights in the sidebar to see all your saved clips, organized by player.
Filtering
Filter your highlights by:
- Player — drill into a specific player’s highlights
- Stat category — show only kills, aces, blocks, etc.
- Success only — hide errors, show only the good stuff
- Season / Tournament / Match — narrow by time period or event
Playback
Click any highlight card to play it inline:
- YouTube highlights play via the embedded YouTube player
- Local highlights play from the saved clip data
Building a Highlight Reel
To create a highlight reel for recruiting or social media:
- Go to Highlights and filter to the player and categories you want
- Review and remove any clips you don’t want to include
- Export or screen-record the highlight playback
Storage
- YouTube highlights are lightweight — they just store a reference to the timestamp
- Local highlights store actual video data in your browser’s local storage
- Highlights are stored locally and are not synced to the cloud
