Your First Match
This guide walks through a full match from start to finish — creating the match, setting lineups, recording stats, tracking score, and reviewing results.
Before the Match
Create the Match
- Go to Matches → + New Match
- Select your season and tournament (or create new ones)
- Enter the opponent name, date, and location
- Choose your match format (Best of 3 is most common)
Set Your Starting Lineup
- Click Track Stats on the match
- The Rotation Grid shows 6 positions (I through VI) in standard volleyball formation
- Click each empty position to assign a player
- Position I is right-back (server position)
During the Match
Recording a Stat
The flow is: Select Player → Select Stat → Select Court Position
- Tap a player in the rotation grid (they’ll highlight)
- Tap the court zone where the play happened (optional for serves)
- Tap the stat button — for example, “Kill” under Attack
The stat appears immediately in the event timeline.
Stat Buttons
Stats are organized by category:

Tracking Score
Use the Point Tracker at the top to record the score after each rally:
- Click + under your team or the opponent
- The score updates in real time
Rotations
After your team wins a rally on the opponent’s serve (side-out):
- Click the Rotate button to shift all players one position clockwise
- The rotation grid updates and the new server moves to Position I
Between Sets
When a set ends:
- Click the next set tab or create a new set
- Set up the new starting lineup (it doesn’t carry over automatically)
- Continue tracking
After the Match
Review Stats
Go to Statistics → Reports to see:
- Stats Table — per-player totals (kills, aces, digs, hitting %, points)
- Stats Explorer — filter by set, player, or category for deep analysis
- Rotation Analysis — see success rates by lineup position
Export & Share
- Export stats as CSV, JSON, or PDF from the Reports tab
- Share a read-only stats link with players and parents — no account required
Tips for Accurate Tracking
- Record stats in real time — don’t batch them after the match
- Always have a lineup set — rotation data is only captured when players are in the grid
- Use video sync — recording while video plays gives you timestamped highlights for free
- Don’t worry about perfection — you can edit or delete any stat event after the fact
